For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,

and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  Hebrews 4:12

What level do I start with?

If your child has not been trained in any of the home arts, we suggest regardless of their age, to start with Level One of the Home Economics books.

Level One covers subjects such as:

  • Learning the basics of cooking

  • Creating a cucumber flower in the garnishing section

  • Making a Shaker Cake in a jar

  • Basic rules for hospitality

  • Beginning sewing (such as making a design with a hole punch on a card and sewing with yarn.  If you have more than one daughter, you can have the older sisters help the younger with these type of tasks.)
